When the word “vintage” pops up in your mind, you often think of it as old or classic. It is said to be that for an item to be considered as vintage; it should be at least 20 years old. Primarily, the word vintage relates to wine, and it came from the French word “vendange,” which means “the grapes picked during a season.”

It should be at least 25 – 100 years old to be considered vintage when it comes to homes. Some people prefer vintage houses rather than the modern ones because of its classic looks and elegant setup.

Nowadays, the cost of a genuine vintage home is quite expensive. If you are on a tight budget, there is another way to own one at a much lower price.

There is a vintage style home that is designed by Baan Setthi Home Co., Ltd. It has two bedrooms, one toilet and bath, a reception hall, and a balcony. Although it is not genuinely vintage, it still has the elegance of a vintage home, and most importantly, it only cost around P1 million one pesos.

The walls are made with wooden planks covered with white paint, which goes along well with its mint green gable type roof. The front door and windows are all made with glass and metal with white frames on its borders. The balcony railings are also painted white, and the floor is covered with dark-brown tiles. The house is also surrounded by traditional lamps to make it look more classical.

The reception hall also looks beautiful with cream-white walls and floor covered with dark-brown wooden planks. There is also a classical chandelier hanging on the tray-type ceiling that adds more elegance to it.

One bedroom is painted pink, and another bedroom is painted light-blue. Both bedroom floors are also covered with dark-brown wooden planks. Each of them also has a classical chandelier hanging on the ceiling.

The walls in the kitchen are painted cream-white. It also has a sink, a countertop, and a wall cabinet designed with blue frames and white panels.

The bathroom is covered with black tiles with a circular glass shower enclosure to separate the wet and dry areas. The walls are covered with white tiles with a mosaic pattern in the middle.

This one-story house was built three years ago, but it still looks outstandingly beautiful and elegant. It is perfect for small to medium size families who are tight on budget.
