Filipinos who wish to be work overseas can rejoice with the news that Poland is opening their doors for Pinoy workers. Poland wants to hire Filipino workers according to Deputy of Mission Joanna Wasiewska in Makati City. The country also wishes to improve their tourism, ‘people-to-people contacts’, and education and culture exchange between their country and the Philippine government. Wasiewska states that because Poland is one of the countries that see progress through the years; their workforce isn’t able to accommodate the need. Filipinos can meet that and Poland is hopeful that the need can be met.
Wasiewska believes that the Philippines is the country where they can get great workers. Wasiewska also mentioned that their products for export are spare parts and food and that they import most electronic products. The relationship between Poland and the Philippines is evident in the resort and tour operator, Salamanca opened in 2005 in Pamatican, Mindanao. She adds that their country is busy in the preparations for the operations of the Embassy for the visitation of the Foreign Minister this 2019. The Embassy was closed for 24 years but is now reopened for. It’s holding office at the 9th floor of Del Rosario Law Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
This is another chance for Filipino workers to show how good they are in their jobs. There are a lot of Filipinos who will have better opportunities through these job openings from Poland. This is also a way for many Filipinos to help their families through their salaries. The job openings from Poland are a handful and many will benefit from these. Let’s all hope that this is the start of a good relationship between Poland and the country for the benefit of everyone.
